A farm with a purpose

A Regenerative Farm for a New Agricultural Era

Ditton Farm is a family-run agricultural business based in Herefordshire, owned by the Green family and operated by a team of modern farmers — from agronomists and soil experts to engineers and operators. Together, we’re building a forward-thinking farm that delivers sustainable food, clean energy, and biodiversity uplift — all from the same fields.

We believe British agriculture has a bigger role to play — not just feeding people, but restoring ecosystems and powering the clean energy transition. At Ditton, we’re proving that land can do more. Farming responsibly isn’t a sideline; it’s the system.

Regenerative Farming at the Core

Regenerative at the Core

We believe that farms should give back more than they take. That’s why we grow responsibly, invest in natural capital, and prioritise long-term soil health over short-term yield.

We believe that farms should never stand still. That’s why we introduce cover crops, diversify rotations, and invest in solar and anaerobic digestion — to adapt, regenerate and lead.

Clean Energy, Built In

Powering the farm and the future with home-grown renewables

At Ditton Farm, we’re proud to be one of the few UK farms generating clean electricity alongside food. Our anaerobic digestion unit transforms farm waste into renewable energy, while solar panels across our buildings help power day-to-day operations. It’s a circular approach that cuts emissions and builds resilience — all from the same footprint.

30 Years of Transformation

This land has been farmed for over a century — but it’s the last 10 years that have transformed Ditton into a model for modern agriculture.

History

Built Over Generations

Farming has taken place on this land for over a century — but Ditton Farm as it stands today began taking shape in the early 2000s.

Through steady investment, careful stewardship, and an openness to innovation, we’ve expanded the farm into a multi-enterprise operation:

• Growing for national food supply chains
• Producing renewable energy
• Delivering biodiversity uplift
• Testing new regenerative methods in real-world conditions
