Ditton Farm: Growing the Future
Sustainable Food, Renewable Energy, and Biodiversity from the Heart of Herefordshire
Ditton Farm is a family-run Herefordshire farm pioneering regenerative agriculture. We’re building a modern farming model that delivers sustainable food, clean energy, and biodiversity uplift — all from the same fields. We believe farms should give back more than they take. That’s why we grow responsibly, invest in natural capital, and prioritise long-term soil health over short-term yield.
What We Grow
From potatoes and barley to maize and beetroot — our crops are grown with care, harvested with precision, and delivered to some of the UK’s leading food producers.
What Makes Us Different?

Regeneration
Rebuilding soil, boosting biodiversity, and cutting carbon — field by field.

Farming Energy
Turning farm waste and sunshine into clean, renewable electricity every day.

Innovation
Creating wild habitats that support pollinators, birds, and natural predators.

The People
A dedicated team farming with care, expertise, and regenerative purpose.
Led by People Who Care
Owned and operated by the Green family, Ditton is a Herefordshire farm bringing together agronomists, engineers, soil experts, and land managers — all united by a shared commitment to regenerative agriculture and better British farming.
Our Sustainability
A Regenerative Approach
Sustainability That Starts in the Soil
At our Herefordshire farm, sustainability isn’t a department — it’s the system. From regenerative farming and biodiversity net gain to soil moisture management and renewable energy, we integrate environmental delivery into every decision. Explore how we’re reshaping British agriculture — one field, one dataset, and one root system at a time.

Where Food and Power Grow Together
Ditton Farm is one of a small number of UK farms producing both food and energy — on the same land, with the same purpose. We’re not just growing food — we’re building a more sustainable agricultural future. We operate a fully integrated renewable energy system, led by our on-site anaerobic digestion (AD) plant and supported by widespread solar infrastructure.
